Pauline Boyd was married to Roy Laverne Bauer. She died from surgery and was at Cape Girardeau in a hospoital.

Billie J. Corbitt died July 20 2006 at his Danville home. He was 71 was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Jonesboro, IIllinois. He was a son of Paul E. and Ruth (Stacy) Corbitt. He married Joyce (Cox) Corbitt, who survives. Mr. Corbitt graduated from Anna-Jonesboro High School in 1952 and attended Southern Illinois University, University of Illinois, and IUPUI. He worked 25 years as a safety director at Commercial Union Insurance Co. until retiring in 1997.He was active in the Illinois National Guard prior to 1957. He was a member of Plainfield Christian Church. Additional survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Cinda and Randy Ferguson of Danville; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Helen Corbitt of Danville; and grandchildren Lindsay and Sean Ferguson, and Christoper, David, and Steven Corbitt, all of Danville. Ada Ann Clemens, nee Dillow, 81, of Collinsville, Ill., passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, in her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Dale Clemens of Collinsville, Ill.; and her parents, Hal and Lorene Dillow of Mill Creek, Ill. Mrs. Clemens is survived by her sister, Louise (Dale) Pitts of Wylie, Texas; daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Martin of St. Jacob; son, Jeffrey (Jananne) Clemens of Downers Grove; seven grandchildren, Peter and Molly Clemens of Collinsville, Matthew and Andrew Martin of St. Jacob, Caitlin, Emma, James, and Zoe Clemens of Downers Grove. Memorials may be made to the Meadow Heights Baptist Church building fund, 1498 Vandalia, Collinsville, Ill., 62234. Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, and Ill. Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, immediately following the visitation.
Ada Ann Dillow Clemens was a gradated of Anna Jonesboro High School Class of 1952. She was the valedictorian of her 1952 Anna Jonesboro Community High School class. Ada lived in the Collinsville, Illinois area most of her married life and lived in Maryville Illinois the last few years of her life. She married Dale Clemens from Grand Tower whom she met at SIU. Dale was a Baptist Minister and pastor at a Baptist church in Collsville for almost 30 years.

He was in the Anna Jonesboro Comunity High School class of 1952. Ray was a scientist who worked for Eli Lilly, a Pharmacy Company and developed the prozac drug that is given for depression, etc. He lived in Anna growing up and went to Anna schools. He lived in Indianapolis, Indiana when he died.

ANNA - Doris Rose Houghlan Davis, 73, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, in Union County Hospital in Anna. Doris was born the youngest of seven children to John E. and Verna Edmonds Houghlan on Oct. 11, 1933. She married Charles O. Davis on March 8, 1958, in Anna. He preceded her in death Sept. 29, 1974. Doris was a devoted mother to her children, Tom Davis and wife, Kim Audrey, of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Nancy Ann Davis of Anna. Her four grandchildren, whom she was most proud of, are Thomas Charles, Brooke Mackenzie, Natsha Nicole Rose and Daniel Thomas Davis. She is also survived by a sister, JoAnn Keller and husband, Jim, of Makanda; a sister-in-law, Joyce Verble and husband, Loel Jr., of Anna; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles O. Davis; a brother, John "Red" Houghlan; and sisters, Hattie Houghlan, Dorothy Henard, Helen Anderson and Rachel Dodson. She was a member of Anna United Methodist Church. Doris spent her adult life at Mulberry Manor in Anna, providing loving care to the developmentally handicapped who were less fortunate. She will be deeply missed by family, loved ones and friends alike. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, in Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with Jimmy Keller officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Anna United Methodist Church. Dorothy Lacy Williams passed away Jan. 7, 2005 at her home in Anna. Dorothy survived by her husband Dean Williams of Anna, Illinois. Dorothy graduated with the 1952 Anna Jonesboro Comunity High School Class.

ANNA - Donald Dean Martin, 73, died at 11:51 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, in Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born Dec. 24, 1934 in Anna, the son of Mack and Alice (Lence) Martin. He married Imogene Rogers Kelley on Dec. 20, 2003, in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Donald is survived by his wife Imogene of Anna; two daughters, Kim Martin of Lexington, Ky. and Melanie White of Louisville, Ky.; son, Jeff Martin of Georgetown, Ky.; two stepchildren, Steve Kelley of St. Louis and Terri Kelley Isom of Anna; sister, Linda Darling of Anna; four grandchildren, Brittany, Akilah, Amir and Asim; one step-granddaughter, Courtney Frahlich; three stepgreat-granddaughters; a niece; two nephews; and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Delores. Donald was a long time member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired office manager from Ameren CIPS, after working more than 38 years. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in Rendleman and Hileman Funeral home in Anna, with the Rev. Doug Bridgeman officiating. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Dannie Morris, 73, passed away March 1st 2008. His funeral was March 4th in Tenn. Dannie was born in Anna, Illinois and lived at the bottom of East High Street and Baker Street. At that time it was called Tennessee Hill. There were a lot of boys living on the Tennessee Hill area, Dannie's brothers Allen and Joe Morris, friends; Sonny Boyer, Robert Leon Boyer, Donald Paul and Paul Boyer, Cates boys, Calhoun boys, Don Lemasters, Richard Henderson, Bob and Jack Pitts and most of the boys were very active in sports. Dannie nick name was meatrine. He was very active in sports and was quarterback on the 1951 football team and was a very good player on the 52 basket ball team. Dannie was born about 1935 in Union County, Illinois. He was a Army retired Lt. Col. Dannie attend Davie, Anna Junior High and graduated with the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School Class of 1952.

Donald Dee Stout, 78, of San Antonio, Texas, and formerly of Anna, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011. He was born in Anna in 1933, the son of Elizabeth Smick Stout and Hugh Stout. His grandparents were Nora and Fred Smick. He graduated in 1952 from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and retired in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Ginny Tubbs Stout and two sons, Darrell and Bruce Stout, of San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Castle Ridge Church The Rev. James E. Carey officiated. Interment was at Fort Sam Houston with military honors.
