Rickey Deon Brimm, 66 of Anna, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 6:43 PM at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services for Mr. Brimm will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Reverends Ron Reynolds & Richard Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family. Envelopes will be available during services or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Rick was born in Union County on January 28, 1947 to Sam & Ella Mae (Dirden) Brimm. He married Bonnie Massey on March 19, 1980 in Johnson County; they were days short of their 33rd wedding anniversary. She survives of Anna. Mr. Brimm is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; children, Marilyn & David Walker of Houston, TX, Zanetta Brimm of Louisville, KY, Athena & Kenny Brimm-Wright of Effingham, Misty & Mike Pickles of Anna and Misty Pendergrass of Anna; brother, Kent Brimm of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Larry Brimm, Jackie Brimm, Mary Turner and Velma Lylera; grandson, Christopher Walker. Rick was a construction worker by trade. He worked for 34 years for Laborer Locals 773 & 1330. His hobbies included fishing, walking in the woods, and painting on saw blades as well as canvases. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers football fan. Rick's ultimate passion was camping and riding horses. He looked forward each day to mounting his trusty side-kick "Turbo" and going for a long adventure. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. Gazette-Democrat Posted. James "Jim" E Redenbo 1947 2014, A-J 1965 Class, Inspector General for State of Illinois, Information furnished by A-J Classmate and Friends.

James E. "Jim" Redenbo, 66, of Springfield, Illinois, died at 10:35 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his family. Jim was born August 6, 1947 in Anna, IL, the son of Lloyd and Josephine Redenbo. Jim was a 1965 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, and a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, where he received a degree in Political Science. He had a distinguished 23 year career with the Illinois State Police, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Jim also served as the state's first Inspector General for then Secretary of State Jim Edgar. Following his retirement from state government in 1993, he formed the Ross Agency, where he served as president until his death. Jim was a member and former President of the Illini Country Club. He also belonged to the Ambassadors of Hope, FBI National Academy Associates, and volunteered for many years as security for the LPGA. He married Patricia Burke on November 29, 1975 in Springfield. Jim's greatest pride and joy in life were his twin daughters Heather and McKenna. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching his daughters play sports, playing with his grandchildren, cooking family dinners, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Josephine Redenbo. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Redenbo of Springfield; daughters, Heather (husband, Eric) Gleason of Sherman and McKenna (husband, Ryan) Matrisch of Chatham; two grandchildren, Sophie Grace Gleason and Addison Pearl Matrisch; one sister, Rebecca Jo Redenbo of Springfield; one brother, Edward Lee (wife, Linda) Redenbo of Stuart Draft, VA; one aunt, Edith Hardy of Columbus, TX; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Springfield, Illinois. Burial followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois. Gene F. "Frankie" Williams 1947 1997, A-J 1965 Class, Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, Information furnished by A-J Classmate and Friends.

Mr. Gene F. "Frank" Williams, 49 of Anna, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, 1997, at St. Joseph's Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro. He was born on July 21, 1947, in Anna, son of Harry Eugene and Dorothy Ray Williams. He is survived by a daughter, Chantelle Richardson of Titusville, Florida; a son, Frankie Joe Williams of Anna; his mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Harry Woods of Anna; two sisters, Sue and Darla Williams, both of Springfield; one half -sister Jayne Jones of Anna; one step-brother Greg Wood of Anna; one step-sister, Pam Stout of Anna; a grandson Aaron, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Williams was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member and past commander of the Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Anna. He was employed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources at the Little Grassy Lake Fish Hatchery. Funeral services for Mr. Gene F. "Frank" Williams were at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 17, at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. John Cripps officiating. Interment was in Anna Cemetery with military honors at the grave by the Carroll F. Foster Post No. 3455 of VFW in Anna. Memorials can be made to the Illinois Veterans Home in Anna. Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home of Anna were in charge of arrangements. Frank attended Davie Grade School and Anna Junior High and Anna Jonesboro Community High School class of 1965.

Cavitt Dwayne 1947-2018 Dwayne Cavitt, age 71 of Anna, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 4, 1947 the son of Eugene and Clara (Farris) Cavitt. Dwayne is survived by several cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dwayne enjoyed photography. Funeral services for Dwayne Cavitt will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 p.m. in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
