Ronald G. Cantrell, 56, of Bloomington, and formerly of Anna, died at his residence on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. He was born on June 12, 1956, the son of James D. and Norma Jean Collie Cantrell in Anna. He married Kathy Wilson. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Brittany Jo Cantrell of Bloomington; his father, James D. Cantrell of Anna; three sisters Linda (Jim) Ellis of Normal, Brenda (Leon) Murphy of Cape Girardeau and Donna (Tony) Coryell of Dongola; nephews Todd (Stephanie) Ellis of Carterville and Joshua (Krystle) Boyd of Cape Girardeau; nieces Sara (Tom) Roberts of Normal and Jessica Coryell of Dongola; and multiple extended family. His mother and one nephew, Carl Franklin Coryell, preceded him in death. He graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. He was employed by GTE. In recent years he had also been employed at Dairy Queen and Huck's locations in Normal and Bloomington. He liked movies, reading and spending time with others, especially his coworker family at Huck's. A memorial service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bloomington with the Rev. Brian Goke officiating. Affordable Funeral Cremation Services of Central Illinois in Peoria assisted the family with arrangements. A memorial service is planned at a later date in Union County. Mr. Ivan Scott Milam, age 57 of Mill Creek, died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at his home in Mill Creek. He was born March 16, 1956 in DeKalb, Illinois, the son of Alvin "AL" and Lillian Smith Milam. He married Kathy Jackson on April 16, 2004 at the Davie School Inn in Anna. Ivan is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Milam of Mill Creek; one son, Richard Jackson of Jonesboro; mother, Lillian Milam of Jonesboro; one sister, Charlotte (Wayne) Smith of Winter Haven, FL; three brothers, Curt (Marla) Milam of Payson, AZ, Butch (Evelyn) Milam of Birmingham, MI, Tony (Cheryl) Milam of Jonesboro; mother in law, Geneva Jackson of Jonesboro; two sisters in law, Patsy (Bob) Butterfield of Georgetown, TX, Jane (Ben) Tisdale of Elberta, AL; two brothers in law, Harry (Tina) Jackson of Jonesboro, Walter (Robin) Jackson of Dongola; nieces and nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, AL Milam and father in law, Walter P. Jackson.Ivan was a self employed painter for many years. He will be warmly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services for Mr. Ivan Scott Milam will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating.
